Another year has gone by, and another incredible Bunny Run is on the books. On Saturday, approximately 500 individuals were registered to run the 2016 ASH Dash 5K Bunny Run, some even visiting from cities outside of Austin.  The Dash saw some speedy runners this year -- congratulations to Phil Sneller, best overall male runner, with a total time of 16:50.43 at a pace of 5:26/M and Jordan Bucher, best overall female runner with a time of 20:25.40 at a pace of 6:35/M. If you were a participant in the ASH Dash and would like to access your race time, click here. 2016 was year of change for the ASH Dash. The Volunteer Services Council and the Austin State Hospital Community Relations department decided to extend an invitation to individuals from the Austin community to be a part of the Bunny Run leadership. The VSC's mission is to enhance the lives of the patients of the Austin State Hospital. By establishing successful committees made up of passionate Austinites, that goal could be better achieved! Thank you committee chairs for taking the lead for mental health.
