The Austin State Hospital staff was all smiles last week during the annual 'Employee Appreciation Week,' sponsored by the Volunteer Services Council and hosted by ASH Community Relations. This year, the Employee Appreciation Committee decided to change things up and host a three-day event in order to reach each employee before and after their designated shifts. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. In a letter to the committee, Education Rehab instructor Michael Marcionetti wrote,
"It was clear that considerable thought, creativity, energy, and teamwork went into making all of the events successful," Marcionetti said. "I wanted to let you all know I felt it was a great job and your collective and individual efforts are sincerely appreciated."
The VSC is proud and appreciative of the Austin State Hospital staff and their dedication to patient recovery and wellness. Until next year!
