MHAT – Mental Health Association of Texas
Promoting mental health and preventing mental illnesses through research and education, improving care and treatment for people with mental illnesses, and advocating for the rights of persons with mental illnesses through public policy

NAMI Texas Chapter – The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Texas
Affiliated with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), NAMI Texas has 10,000 members dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy    

TMHC – Texas Mental Health Consumers
Encouraging, educating, training, and organizing people who have received services from the mental health system to advocate for themselves and to support each other
